J & E Stevens Cast Iron Eagle & Eaglets Mechanical Bank

J. & E. Stevens Co., designed by Charles Henn, patented 1883 - this is the Eagle and Eaglets cast iron mechanical bank. You place a coin in the eagles beak, press the lever in the back, and the coin is dropped into the nest as the eagle raises its wings and the little birds move up and down. A great action bank - and good looking too. This one is in very nice overall condition - as seen in the pictures. Shows some wear on the birds wings, but I see no breaks or cracks. Don't miss this for your collections.
