High Grade Lionel Freight Set # 2201WS, 685, 6026, OB +

This is a very nice original Lionel "O" gauge postwar set - No. 2201WS from 1953. This set includes the No. 685 die-cast Steam Engine with smoke, headlight and magnetraction, only made in 1953, with its matching No. 6026W Whistle Tender, the No. 6464-50 M&SL Box Car, the No. 6465 Sunoco two-dome Tank Car, the No. 6462 Gondola and the No. 6357 SP-Type Caboose. The set also includes a bottle of smoke pellets, the 685 operating instructions and another operating instruction booklet. All that is pictured!

I would call the condition of the trains excellent plus to like new - as seen in the pictures. They show some run time, but not much. Cosmetically, the set is in real nice condition. The engine runs, but will need to be lubed. The tender works fine. The boxes are the only thing that shows more wear, as a couple of the flaps are taped, the 6464 box has an end replaced, and the 6462 has a down flap that is missing. The set box, however, is brick-like with a small tear on the top of one flap. You won't be disappointed in this one.
