Lionel Train Set No. 2175W, 2343 AA, 6456, 3464, 6555 +

Here is a very nice set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains, Set No. 2175W from 1950. It includes the No. 2343 AA Santa Fe Diesel engines, with the following freights - No. 6555 Sunoco tank car, the No. 6462 NYC gondola car with barrels, the No. 3464 Santa Fe remote control Operating Box Car, the No. 6456 black Lehigh Valley Hopper Car - and the No. 6457 illuminated tuscan caboose. Additionally, we have the Set Box and all individual boxes. Everything that is pictured.

Overall, this is a real nice looking set. The engines are in excellent overall condition. Missing a few porthole windows on the powered unit. The non-powered unit has nice bright silver, and just some box rubs on the domes. No corrosion in battery compartment. Engine ran fine, horn was not tested. The freights are generally excellent. The only one that grades lower would be the 6555 tank car, that has a couple of spots in the silver, and some of the decal missing. The 3464 has some finger smudges and should clean up to excellent. The boxes of the freights are in good condition. Some missing flaps, some with tape as reinforcement to the flaps (please check the pictures). The Santa Fe boxes do have their interior linings and original paper. The non-powered box is complete and in excellent condition. The UCS is box only. The set box looks good. One corner has been taped. Please ask any questions. A very nice Lionel postwar set to own.
