Lionel Prewar O Gauge Set # 237W w/ 249E 265W 620 655 +

Here is a neat set of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains. This is set was cataloged in 1937 and it features the gun metal gray No. 249E Steam Engine, with its No. 265W Tender. This pulls a great set of freights - the No. 655 Box Car, the No. 654 Sunoco Tank Car, the No. 620 Search Lght Car, the No. 659 green Dump Car, and the No. 657 Caboose. This set is in nice overall condition as seen in the photographs. Let me detail what I see, and please check out all the photographs, and ask any questions. The engine overall is in very nice condition. A couple of spots where the paint is missing. The cow catcher is a little bent on one side. The engines runs in forward and reverse. The tender is in fair condition. Showing a lot more wear than the engine. It was tested and it did whistle. The freights are all in very good to excellent overall condition, and consistent from one to another. The wheels and couplers on all are showing minor oxidation, mostly on the top of the couplers. The 659 has a spot of wear on the inside of the dump. The Search Light Car did not work, and shows some paint missing on the top of the frame. The box car has a small dent in the roof. The boxes in most cases are torn and tattered. Engine box is missing. Please check out the photos. A nice set of early Lionel trains - that you should own.
