Marx 35250 NYC 4-6-2 Steam Engine Passenger Train SetLN

Here is a wonderful early Marx 'O" gauge electric Train Set. In one of the best conditions I've ever seen for this set. Marked Set No. 35250 on the side of the box. This includes a die-cast 4-6-2 early 1930s type Steam Engine with its matching die-cast tender. It includes a set of three metal lighted New York Central passenger cars. Comes with transfomer, track, clip on, paperwork, and SET BOX.

Condition is pristine - as shown in the photographs. I'm not sure whether this was ever used. A see a couple small box rub marks on the engine, and a couple of small dings on the observation car. But that's about all. I believe the pictures tell the story. The transformer still has its cord rolled. I put the train on a test track and it runs in forward and reverse, and lights up. The set box is brick with its original price written (sorry it can't be had for that price!!). Marx Collectors will know how special this is to find in this kind of condition. Don't miss.
