Lionel Uncatalogued "O" Gauge Set w/ 249E Red 610 Passenger

Here is a fantastic looking prewar Lionel tinplate "O" gauge set - No. 6517E, said to be a Macy's or Gimbles Set from the mid-1930s. It features a nickel trimed No. 249E Steam Engine, with a No. 265W Tender. It includes (3) red with aluminum roof No. 610 illuminated passenger cars (should have a 612 observation). I think you can tell from the pictures that this set is in very good overall condition. The engine runs well. The front truck wheels show wear. The ladder is missing on the tender. The cars are real pretty, with some scratches - but a rare set of cars. One 610 has a dent on the side (see pics). Don't miss this nice Lionel Set.
