Lionel Set # 138W w/ 229 GM 2640, 2640, 2641 Passengers

Here is a great passenger set of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains from 1939-40. The set consists of the gun metal gray No. 229 steam locomotive with its matching 0-2689W tender. The set includes (3) blue with silver roof lighted passenger cars - (2) No. 2640 pullmans - and the 2641 Observation train car. This set is in very good to excellent condition - as you can see from the photos. Some condition notes: The loco is in very nice overall condition, and run well in both forward and reverse. All the cars light up when running. Some minor marks and scratches to the cars The tender imakes a lot of noise but not a true whistle sound. Includes some nice reproduction boxes. Don't miss this really nice set.
