Wilkens Cast Iron Two-Horse Fire Pumper

Here is a fine, and rarely seen Wilkens transitional fire pumper with silhouetted driver. Horses are removable from the posts, Front hitch is unusual as it is in two parts, as seen in the photographs. Toy measures 14-1/2" long. Overall condition is very good. some overall wear, but no breaks or cracks. Driver looks to be a correct cast iron replacement. A valuable toy, last seen in the Stewart sale in Feb. 2005.
