J & E Stevens Cast Iron "Magic" Mechanical Bank

Here is a great early cast iron mechanical bank from J. & E. Steven's in the late 1800s. It is called the "Magic Bank" mechanical bank. The coin is placed on a tray held by the cashier. When you press the knob on the side the door flips around and deposits the coin. Money can also be deposited trough a slot on the roof of the bank. Condition on this piece is excellent - as seen in the pictures. Mechanism works well. No breaks or cracks. The orginal paint is really nice overall.
