High Grade Lionel # 1433W Freight Set w/ 221 221W 2411+

Here is an investment grade Lionel postwar "O27" gauge Freight Set from 1947. This is Set No. 1433W that features a black No. 221 2-6-2 steam locomotive with its matching No. 221W New York Central whistle tender. The engine pulls a No. 2411 Flatcar with wooden log load, a No. 2465 Sunoco Tank Car, and the No. 2472 Pennsylvania N5 Caboose. The set includes a all the Individual Boxes, the rare Set Box, No. 1019 uncoupling section and box, a CTC Lockon, tube of lubricant, and some paperwork . All that is pictured. All I can say about this set is WOW. I have never seen these trains and boxes so clean. Pristine condition. The tender has its complete decal. It does have a small amount of oxidation under the back truck. The engine and tender both work fine. All the boxes have their original Inserts. Only a couple of boxes have tape that reinforces its flaps. The Set Box is all there but does show the most wear. Three of the flaps have been taped and one corner has been reinforced. Nice original label. This is an early postwar set that is one for your collections.
