Rare J & E Stevens Dentist Mechanical Bank

Here is the Dentist mechanical bank, manufactured by J. & E. Stevens circa. 1880s. You place a coin in the the pocket of the dentist and press the lever at the feet of the figures. The dentist extracts the tooth and then falls backwards as the coin drops into the gas bag. At the same time the patient falls backward in his chair. Condition is very good as seen in the pictures. Base has been repaired on the bottom as you can see in the pictures. The gas bag looks like it has been repainted. A rare and much sought after bank - please ask any questions. Thanks.
