Lionel Prewar O Gauge Set # 237W w/ 249E 265W 654 655 +

Here is a neat set of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains. This is set was cataloged in 1937 and it features the gun metal gray No. 249E Steam Engine, with its No. 265W Tender. This pulls a great set of freights - the No. 655 Box Car, the No. 654 Sunoco Tank Car, the No. 659 green Dump Car, and the No. 657 Caboose. This set is in nice overall condition as seen in the photographs. Let me detail what I see, and please check out all the photographs, and ask any questions. The engine overall is in very nice condition. A couple of spots where the paint is missing. The engines lights up and runs in forward and reverse. The tender is in very good condition. Holding up well for this tender. It was tested and it made a lot of noise, but not a clear whistle sound. The freights are all in very good to excellent overall condition, and consistent from one to another. The wheels and couplers on all are mostly clean. The 659 has a spot of wear on the inside of the dump. The box car has some small scratches in the roof. The 655 has some oxidation spots where it is connected to the frame supports. Includes two very nice boxes - the 654 Box, and the 655 Box. Both still have their original Strawbridges and Clothier Labels on them. Missing some coupler flaps. Pictures should be clear.
