Lionel Prewar # 260E Engine & Tender Cream Stripe 1930Here is a great looking Lionel Steam Engine and Tender made only in 1930. This is the black with cream stripe, No. 260E 2-4-2 Steam engine with its No. 260 eight wheel tender. Engine looks to be very good to excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. From observation, let me detail what I see. First, the engine runs smoothly in both forward and reverse. Lights up in the front and underneath. A couple loose stanchions. Missing original flags. The front nose of the boiler front looks like a replacement. The paint on the engine is original and shows appropriate wear. Wheels appear original and in good condition.
