Lionel # X458 Uncatalogued Promotional Train Set w/ #2037Here is a a highly desirable uncatalogued Set of Lionel "O" gauge Trains. Promotional Set No. X-458 from 1957. Features the rare basket weave X-458 Set Box. While many of the Lionel uncatalogued sets featured a plastic engine, this is a higher quality set featuring the No. 2037 die-cast 2-6-4 steam engine with the No. 6026W whistle tender. Comes with the standard freight cars of that period, the No. 6476 Lehigh Valley hopper, the No. 6482 refrigerator car, one 6121 pipe car in excellent plus to near mint condition, a No. 6112 gondola car with correct Lionel white canisters, the No. 6017 Lionel Lines caboose (unrun mint condition), and the No. 6646 cattle car. All with AAR trucks. Set is in excellent or better condition. Comes with a No. 2037 box in perfect condition, and the Set Box, which was opened from the bottom (top still sealed), and has one flap that is torn and tattered.
