J & E Stevens Owl Turns Head Cast Iron Mechanical Bank

This is the J & E Stevens "Owl Turns Head" cast iron Mechanical Bank. It measures 7-1/2" tall. Designed by James H. Bowen, patented 9/28/1880. You put a coin into the top of the branch, press the lever - the owls turns its head, and the coin is deposited into the bank. This bank is in very good original condition as seen in the pictures.
