Lionel Train Set No. 1479WS, 2056, 2046W, 6462, 6457 +

Here is a nice set of Lionel "027" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 1479WS from 1952. This is a complete set - It includes the No. 2056 4-6-4 steam locomotive, with its 2046W "Lionel Lines" streamlined whistle tender. Also, included are the following freights - No. 6462 'NYC' Gondola car, the No. 6465 "Sunoco" Tank car, the No. 6456 maroon Lehigh Valley Hopper, and the No. 6257 SP-Type caboose. Additionally, we have the barrels for the gondola, and some paper - all individual boxes and the SET BOX.

Condition is clear in the pictures - which is excellent. The 2056 loco lights up, runs, and smokes. A little sluggish, so a cleaning is in order. The tender also looks excellent - whistle clicked but didn't currently whistle (?) The engine may has a small ding on one of the cab's corners, but it is slight. The freights all look nice - I don't see any problems. Some minor scratches on the caboose, and one end of the tank car chassis is missing some paint. Individual boxes are also in nice overall condition. The engine box is missing its tape on one corner, and has some staining. Insert is excellent.
