Lionel Train Set No. 1483WS, 2056, 2046W, 3474 +Set Box

Here is an extremely nice set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 1483WS from 1952. It includes a like new Lionel 4-8-4 No. 2056 "O" gauge locomotive with an outstanding 8-wheel - 2046W Lionel Lines tender. Also, included are the freights - the No. 6465 Sunoco tank car - the No. 3474 Western Pacific Box Car - the No. 3472 Refrigerator Car - the No. 6462 NYC Gondola - and the No. 6357 Lionel SP Caboose. Additionally, we have the 1952 Set Box, all individual boxes. Included is a 6019, and a original bottle of smoke pellets. Many of the cars have operating instructions. And we have some of the billboards that came with the set. Please check all the pictures, as what you see is what is being offered.

Condition is as seen in the pictures - which is excellent plus to like new. The No. 2056 loco is cosmetically beautiful. We put it on a track and it runs well. The tender also looks excellent - whistle works. No breaks or cracks, all the steps present.

The freights are all really nice. The Western Pacific Box car is clean and bright. It has a mark on the roof, but overall is in excellent condition. The rest are just as pictured. The boxes are in very good shape. Here are some details - the 2056 box is a brick with its interior lining. The 2046W box also has its interior lining, it has some tape reinforcing one of its flaps. The 3474 box has a repaired interior flap and a tuck flap was added. The 3472 box has its interior lining, a nice platform, operating instructions. I see a couple of milk cans in the top of the car. The 6264 box has some repairs to its flaps and an added tuck flap. The set box looks great for its age. The 6019 has brittle wires. Don't miss this really wonderful Lionel set.
