Early American Flyer O Gauge Pass Set 3015 Engine 3000OK, American Flyer "O" gauge Fans - this week I'm going to list some outstanding - and rare - prewar American Flyer "O" gauge Trains - please check back often.....Here is a neat looking Passenger set of early American Flyer "O" gauge Trains. The set is from the early 1920s and features the rare No. 3015 Boxcab Engine with outline of door on the end (R. Trickel Collection). It includes (3) Illini-Series passenger cars in green - the No. 3000 Baggage, the No. 3001 Pullman and the No. 3001 Observation. The passenger cars are tin lithographed with painted roofs. Condition is good - as seen in the pictures. I have not cleaned them or done anything - so offering as found. Original paint on the engine and car roofs. The engine has no breaks or cracks. Importantly, the engine does work, however, the wheels look like they are swelled and therefore it did not run on the track. The cars show there age. Missing the observation car's rear deck.
