Lionel Prewar No. 616 Red Top Flying Yankee Set - Nice!

This is the scarce uncataloged Three Piece Flying Yankee Set No. 5224E that Lionel made in the middle 1930s. This is a variation of the Flying Yankee Set with a Red Painted Top on the Power Unit and Dull Silver Sides to all of the cars. Contains the No 616 Engine, 617 coach, and 618 rear coach. The set is in very good condition as seen in the pictures. Was put on a test track and it ran, but then did not. I believe it is the wiring. Sorry, no boxes. Don't miss this for your collections.
