Lionel Prewar # 260E Engine & Tender Cream Stripe 1930Here is a great looking Lionel Steam Engine and Tender made only in 1930. This is the black with cream stripe, No. 260E 2-4-2 Steam engine with its No. 260 eight wheel tender. Engine looks to be very good to excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. It has some typical surface paint scratches. Put on a test track and it ran in forward and reverse - and lights up in front and underneath. The tender has the cream stripe and a green frame. I was told that this is probably correct, as Lionel put some of these together like this (rather then the black frame). Some scrapes on the front where it connects to the engine. I think the pictures tell the story, and if you have any questions let me know.
