Lionel Early Postwar Set #1433 w/ 221 221T 2411 2457 OB +

Here is an extremely nice early Lionel "O27" Postwar Set - No. 1433 from 1947. It features the black No. 221 2-6-4 steam locomotive with operating headlight with its matching No. 221T New York Central Tender. It includes the following freights - the No. 2411 flat car with log load, the No. 2465 Sunoco Tank Car, and the No. 2472 red Pennsylvania N5 Caboose. This set does include its boxes, but no set box.

Great original condition. The engine has a wonderful smooth flat black finish. Wheels show little run time. The tender decals show their typical wear. But again, the finish and bottom of this car is really nice. The freights all look excellent plus to like new. Check out the pictures, as they show the condition well.

The boxes are a different story. The Engine box is rough with missing flaps and a average condition. It does have its insert. Same with the Tender box. The best box is the Tank Car which is brick with insert and all flaps. The rest are decent. ANYWAY, overall a great postwar set. Please ask any questions. Don't miss this set for your collections.
