Lionel Postwar Set # 2155WS 726 2426W 2460 BOX ++

What a great set of Lionel "O" gauge trains from 1949. This is Set No. 2155WS. This Set includes the No. 726 2-8-4 Berkshire Steam Locomotive with operating headlight and smoke, along with its the No. 2426W Whistle Tender. The set has the following freights - the No. 6411 flatcar with logs, 3656 operating Armour cattle car with corral, 3656-9 box of 1949 cattle with rounded bases and box, 2460 black cab crane, No. 6457 caboose, a UCS remote control track set, 167 Whistle Controller, Instruction Sheets and other Paperwork. Also includes all individual boxes plus the rare Set Box. All that is seen in the photographs (please check them all out by clicking here).

Condition is excellent plus on this set - as seen in the many pictures. Some of the pieces are like new. Engine and tender show little run time. Cosmetically beautiful. The tender is stellar, one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It has the correct plastic whistle as seen from the bottom. The engine has a small ding on the back right cab roof. I took several pictures for you to see that, as it did no structural damage to the shell. The Tender box is one of the better I have seen, with its interior lining and all flaps. Does have some old tape residue in places. The Engine Box is brick, still sealed on one end. The freights are also in great shape. The 3656 Set is very nice - the ramp still sealed in its original wrapping paper. The Box is missing its flaps at one end. The 2460 is like new. Box still have both its interior linings. The 6411 Box is missing a flap. The Set Box is all there, which is hard to find with this set from 1949. It does show wear on the corners and ends, but label reads clearly.
