Lionel # 763E Hudson Steam Loco w/ 2226WX Tender OBs

Here is high grade prewar Lionel Hudson. It includes the great Hudson black semi-scale No. 763E Steam Locomotive with its No. 2226WX whistle tender with simulated knuckle coupler. Includes both the Engine and a wonderful Tender BOXES. I would call these high grade - as you can see in the pictures. The engine looks great and I can't see much wrong with it. The tender is rubber stamped and also in very nice overall condition. The engine ran in forward and reverse when put on a small piece of test track. The frame looks nice and straight. Cab roof is nice with no bends. The whistle works, but makes more noise than whistle which is typical of these early tenders. Both come with their original boxes. The Tender Box is one of the nicest I've seen in awhile. Not sure if its insert is correct or not. I believe the pictures speak for themselves, and please ask any questions.
