Lionel No 2207W Set w/ 2353 ABA Diesels 3484 6415 6417+

Here is a great Lionel Set of postwar "O" gauge trains from 1953. This is set No. 2207W which features the ABA set of Lionel No. 2353 F-3 Santa Fe's diesels with the following Freight Cars - No. 3484 Pennsylvania Operating Box Car, the No. 6415 "Sunoco" 3-Dome Tank Car, the No. 6462 "NYC" Gondola, and the No. 6417 Pennsylvania lighted Caboose. We have the individual boxes, as well as, the rare Set Box. Selling all that is pictured.

I think the condition is very clear from the photographs. Breaking it down: The 2353 Santa Fe powered unit is very nice looking. It runs in forward and reverse. It has a few small nicks in the red around the windows, and in the high areas. The roof has its original nice bright silver finish. A couple of little rubs. The decals are as pictured. The non-powered unit is similar, it has a few areas where the paint is missing in the red. You can see them in the pictures. Silver also looks very nice. The battery compartment is nice and clean. The B Unit is the BEST car in the set. Excellent condition. Overall the freights are very nice, with no problems that I see. The 3484 is a real good looking car, as well as the Tank Car and Gondola. The Caboose is complete with no breaks. The engine boxes have some flap problems. Some have been taped. Inserts still there of the A Units, the B Unit box has a replaced insert and no flaps. The 3484 box is missing an end flap. The 6462 box has some tape residue and is missing a tuck flap. The other boxes are missing some coupler flaps. The set box is in good shape, but shows some wear as pictured. Has some paper tape on the flaps and sides which can be removed with water. Overall, a nice set - don't miss. Additionally, if there is no bidding interest in this as as set, I will pull the item and sell the pieces individually. So, please bid early if interested. Buyer pays shipping.
