Lionel Postwar Set No 2549W, w/ 2349 NP, 3535 +Set Box

Here is a fantastic set of postwar "O" gauge Lionel trains - Set No. 2549W from 1960 with its Set Box. The set features the No. 2349 Northern Pacific GP-9 Diesel Locomotive. Included are the following freights... the No. 3540 Operating Radar Car - the No. 6470 Explosives Box Car - the No. 6819 Flat Car with Helicopter - and the No. 6650 IRBM Rocket Launcher - and the No. 3535 AEC Security Car. It includes the individual boxes, instruction sheets, correct packet, track and a very nice Set Box. All that is pictured below.

This is an excellent to like new set, with the cars in pristine condition as seen in the pictures (sorry for all the photos, but I wanted you to see all). The engine is excellent. No breaks or cracks. Some minor wear on the gold underneath. The cars are beautiful. These would rate like new. Most have virtually no run time., with the Security Car unrun. The helicopter has an unbroken original tail. All the car boxes are in nice shape, but some have a few place of loose perf., and some are missing their push-in tabs. The set box is very nice for its age Inside flaps have been reinforced with bonding paper. Please check pictures carefully - and ask if you have any questions. Don't miss this very nice Lionel Set.
