Lionel Prewar # 226E Steam Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender

Here is an extremely nice prewar Lionel "O" Gauge 2-8-4 Locomotive - No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226W Whistle Tender. This is the version with the tender having nickel journals. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. This is in real nice condition - as seen in the pictures. I don't see much wrong with these. Engine has been tested and it runs, the whistle on the tender works. Not a lot of run time on these beauties. Don't miss! Also, selling in separate lots a whole series of 2800 series freights with nickel journals that would go with this engine. Many of them also in excellent condition (see bottom picture).
