Nice Lionel 226E Prewar Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender NRThis evening I am offering a great group of trains from Lionel prewar Set No. 291W (see bottom picture for the group - this is for the below listed item only). Here is one of my favorite Lionel Steam Locomotives - the Lionel "O" Gauge 2-6-4 No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226W Whistle Tender. This is the engine with the "Lionel Lines" plates on the sides of the cab. A harder version to find. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. The engine is in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. The tender is the rubber stamped version. It shows some wear, but overall is very nice. The engine has been tested and it runs well in forward and reverse and cycles beautifully. Lights up in the front. The whistle on the tender also works.
