Tough Lionel Set No. 1552 w/ 629 Diesel 2432 2434 2436Here is a nice set of Lionel "O27" gauge postwar trains from 1956 - featuring the Burlington No. 629 Center Cab Diesel Engine with the the following red-lettered illuminated passenger cars - No. 2432 Clifton Vista Dome, the No. 2434 Newark Pullman, and the No. 2436 Summit Observation Car. Also has the three BOXES for the Passenger Cars. No engine box. Overall, a nice looking set. The engine shows some wear to the silver throughout. Has the proverbial screw crack on the front (see pics). Ran in forward and reverse. The cars vary in condition. The 2434 Newark is in very good condition. Some marks on the roof. Trucks clean. The No. 2432 Clifton is in excellent plus condition. It only has a small mark on the roof. Otherwise, nice and shinny silver like new. The Observation is only in good condition. The roof lifts up in the back, as the bracket inside may be loose. Some minor oxidation underneath, and some wear on the roof. The boxes are all in very nice condition with all flaps present, including all coupler flaps. A hard set to find - don't miss. Please ask any questions. Thanks. Price: $395 SORRY! SOLD!
