Lionel Standard Gauge No. 400E Loco & Tender

Wow! Here is one of Lionel's biggest and best engines. This is the No. 400E 4-4-4 black with copper trim Steam Engine with its matching Tender. This is a large and impressive piece. Made between 1927-36. This engine and tender looks great and is in excellent plus or even better condition. It truly is a fantastic and collectible piece. The finish on this train is beautiful and is all original, The engine is shinny and bright. I see some minor marks, but they are very minor (see all pics). The only thing I see is that the air chambers on the sides show wear, and it is missing one flag. The front boiler plate is original and opens and shuts easily. It was put on a test track, and it lights up and runs. The tender is even in better condition than the engine. Super clean wheels, trucks and couplers. This is a train for the high end collector - don't miss.
