Lionel No. 2242 New Haven F3 AB Diesel Engines + BOX NO RESERVE (DP)

Here is a wonderful set of Lionel F-3 Diesels you won't see very often. These are the New Haven No. 2242 A and B units. Comes with their original BOXES and instruction sheet. These are in very good to excellent condition - as seen in ALL the pictures (please click the link above to view ALL the photographs on my site prior to bidding). The powered unit shows some minor wear but overall looks very nice. Runs well in forward and reverse. The battery compartment is clean. Has a scratch on the roof. Also, the front coupler is being held on with a wire (see pics). The non-powered unit is excellent. Nice bright silver. A clean engine. The powered BOX has wear along the taped seam. The T box is missing flaps on one end, and has writing on two sides. It does have its original insert. Instruction sheet has been taped.
