Lionel Prewar O Gauge Red Top Flying Yankee Streamliner Train Set 616 617 618 NRThis is the scarce uncataloged Three Piece Flying Yankee Set No. 5224W that Lionel made in the middle 1930s. This is the variation of the Flying Yankee Set with a Red Painted Top on the Power Unit and Dull Silver Ribbed-Sides to all of the cars. Contains the No 616 Engine, (2) 617 coaches, and the 618 rear coach. Overall condition of this set very good as seen in the pictures below. Best of all the set runs fine in forward and reverse, lights up and the whistle works. This has the original red paint on the roof. The engines has some nicks and scratches as pictured.
