Lionel Set # 1565WS w/ 2065 Steam Engine & 6026W Tender 6414 6346 3662 3650 BOX

Here is wonderful and fairly large set of Lionel postwar "O" gauge trains from 1956. This is Set No. 1565WS (or Set No. 713). It includes the No. 2065 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive with Smoke and Magnatraction, the No. 6026W Whistle Tender. Pulling the following freight cars - the No. 6414 Evans Auto Loader, the No. 6346 Alcoa Covered Hopper, the No. 3662 operating Milk Car, the No. 3650 Extension Searchlight Car, and the No. 6357 illuminated SP-Type Caboose. Has most individual boxes, some paperwork, operating packets, the No. 1033 90-Watt Transformer, some of the instructions sheets and the hard Set Box. All that is pictured below. Overall, this set is in excellent condition. The engine is really very nice. Just a couple of marks. Has good straight steps upfront. Runs with no problems. The tender is also very nice, but does have one paint rub on one side. No breaks or cracks. Whistles fine. The freights overall are very nice. The only issue I did see is some paint thinness to the top of the Alco Hopper Car. The searchlight car is particularly nice with all its parts. I notice that a couple pieces of the set are missing and will need to be obtained to complete the set. The No. 6414 Auto Loader appears to me to have reproduction cars (I see no Lionel markings). The 6346 Hopper is missing its individual box. The 3662 Milk Car is missing its stand, a couple of the milk cans, and the insert in its Box. No track is included. The Boxes overall are mostly very nice. The engine box has been opened straight on one end and missing flaps. The other end is still sealed. Tender box is missing flaps. The 3650 box has some tape. So, there are little issues. The important Set box is in very good condition. Nice and square and firm. All flaps present - sealed on the bottom. This great set - not to be missed.
