Here is a great looking cast iron toy made in the late 1800's. This is the single-seat horse drawn Surrey, made by the famous toy maker - Pratt & Letchworth. Pratt & Letchworth made some of the finest, and sought after, cast iron toys around the turn of the century. Their cast iron work is finely detailed, and the hand painting is outstanding. This toy measures 15-1/2" long. It is in very good condition - as seen in the pictures. This is a rarer version with only one painted seat and horse with a yellow blanket. Civilian cast iron driver.
