Lionel No. 763E Hudson Steam Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender

Here is wonderful late prewar Lionel Hudson from 1941-42. It includes the great Hudson black semi-scale No. 763E Steam Locomotive with its No. 2226W whistle tender with simulated knuckle coupler. Comes with its BOXES, and original Instruction Sheet. These are in excellent plus condition - as seen in all the pictures below. The engine cosmetically looks great. The engine did run in forward and reverse. The frame looks nice and straight. Cab roof is nice with no bends. The tender also looks to be in excellent plus condition. The whistle works, but makes a loud noise typical of these early tenders. The Engine box is in excellent condition with one end still taped. The flaps on both ends of the tender box are reproductions. Neither box has an insert. The instruction sheet is apart and has been hole punched.
