Scarce J & E Stevens "Lion Hunter" Cast Iron Mechanical Bank

Here is one of the nicer, and more sought after, original cast iron Mechanical Banks - due to its scarcity and great subject matter. Manufactured by J. & E. Stevens, Circa 1880s, this is called the "Lion Hunter" Mechanical Bank. You put the coin on "Teddy Roosevelt's" gun, press the lever, the Lion's trap opens and the coin is shot into the bank. Mechanism works well. This one overall is in great condition - as seen in the pictures. Strong original paint, but somewhat dirty. Would clean up nicely. No breaks or cracks.
