High Grade Lionel Prewar # 763E Steam Hudson Loco w/ 2263W Tender + BOXESHere is a beautiful all original Lionel No. 763E NYC Gun-metal Gray Hudson Steam Locomotive with its No. 263W Whistle Tender. Cataloged in 1937/38. This is the early version, with the early tender - 1937. One look at the Engine and you can see just how great this piece is - nice and straight castings with no breaks or cracks, high gloss original paint finish, wonderful strong graphics. I would grade this almost like new. Runs well in forward and reverse. The tender is just a notch below the engine in condition. Has some minor wear and a couple of scratches. Whistle works. Comes with its original boxes. The engine box is missing flaps on one end and an interior flap on the other. The insert is not correct for this box.
