Lionel 6-18068 Century Club Penn Tender 671&773 w/Rsnds

Here is the Lionel Century Club 18068 PRR Steam Turbine Tender. This tender was made to go with the Lionel Century Club 18057 Steam Turbine Locomotive which was made with a plastic Lionel Lines tender as was the first 671 tender when Lionel produced its first 671 in 1946. In 1948 Lionel produced a die-cast streamline tender which is commemorated by the production of the 18068 Century Club Tender. This tender was made in the U.S.A. and produced in quantities limited to those requested by Century Club members who had previously purchased the 18057 Steam Turbine Locomotive. It was only available for sale to Lionel Century Club Members and never was distributed through Lionel retail. Features of the 18068 Tender include: New Die-cast Body - Six-wheel Die-cast Trucks - Directional Lighting - Full RailSounds including CrewTalk and TowerCom - Metal Grab Rails and Ladder - Electrocoupler - Flexible Tether - Scale Die-cast Water Scoop on the tender undercarriage. Length is 9". Minimum Radius: O-31. This tender is also compatible with the century club 773 which would represent a 1964 model. This set is new in the box. Has all paperwork. A great collectible.
