Early Cast Iron "Safe" Bank Stevens -Nice

Here is a beautiful cast iron "Safe" bank from Shimer or J.&E. Stevens. Patented marked on bottom - 1896. This bank measures 3-3/8" h x 2-1/2" w x 2-1/4" d. It is in excellent plus condition - as seen in the pictures. Great gold highlights. No breaks or cracks. Missing key, but opens from bottom.
