Nice! Lionel #2507W New Haven F-3 Freight Set

Here is the No. 2507W Freight Set that Lionel made in 1958; a wonderful and hard to find F-3 set. This Set includes the No. 2242P/C New Haven F-3 AB Diesels with magnetraction and horn, the No. 6424 Flat Car with two automobiles, the No. 6464-425 New Haven Box Car, the No. 3444 Operating Animated Erie Gondola, the No. 6468-25 New Haven Double Doors Automobile Box Car, and the No. 6357 Illuminated SP-Type Caboose. Comes with all the Individual Boxes and the rare Set Box. All that is pictured in the many photos below. I believe the pictures are clear as to the overall condition of these trains. Overall, I would call the set like new. The engines are really nice with only some minor rubs in the silver on the back of the B-unit cab's roof. The powered unit has one spot of paint wear on the front right hood. Some minor wear to the black around the number boards. Battery compartment is clean. Wheels show very little run-time. Engine runs fine. The Freight Cars are all very clean with again, very little runtime. The boxes overall are also in excellent condition. The B-Unit Box is missing an end flap. No interior lining. The No. 6468-25 Box has one half on an end flap missing. The rest have all flaps and all have their original coupler flaps. The Set Box is nice and square, and firm. Has one small hole in the front bottom. But overall very nice for this Box. A great set just how it was in 1958. Don't miss - buy with confidence. Thanks.
