Rare Lionel No 228 Prewar 0-6-0 Switcher w/ 2228B Tender

Here is one you won't find very often. This is the Lionel prewar No. 228 0-6-0 PRR Switcher with its matching No. 2228B Tender. The number 228 is cast in the boiler front plate. The tender is marked "2228B" on the bottom. This set is in really nice overall condition. The Engine Shell looks almost like new. Nice straight casting. Front operating coupler is intact. When put on a test track it ran in forward and reverse. The tender is also in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. Strong graphics. Has been rewired underneath. Front connecting pin wires are frayed. Missing coupler pin. A great look early Lionel Engine and Tender - don't miss. Thanks.
