High Grade Lionel 226E Locomotive w/ 2226WX Tender + BOXESHere is one of my favorite Lionel Steam Locomotives - the Lionel "O" Gauge 2-6-4 No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226WX Whistle Tender. Comes with its original BOXES plus Inserts. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. I would call this set like new condition - as seen in the pictures below. Shows very little run time and wear. The tender is the white heat stamped version. The engine has been tested and it runs well in forward and reverse and cycles beautifully. Lights up underneath. The whistle on the tender also works. The engine box is missing its end flaps and shows wear along the edges. The tender box has all of its flaps.
