Tough Lionel Uncataloged Set #9674 w/ 616 6627 6416 + SET BOXHere is a set you won't see very often. This is Lionel Uncataloged Set No. 9674 from 1961. WOW. The set contains the No. 616 Santa Fe NW-2 Switcher, the No. 6416 Boat Loader w/ (4) Boats, the No. 6822 Searchlight Car, the No. 6812 Track Maintenance Car, the No. 6827 Harnishfeger Tractor Shovel Car, the No. 6519 Allis-Chalmers Flatcar, and the No. 6130 A.T & S.F Caboose. The set has most of the individual "picture" boxes, (12) pieces of curved Super "O" Track, and the Rare Set Box. All that is pictured below. The set overall is in great condition. The Set Box even has the original "Dean Phipps Stores" Shipping Label with a $34.95 price! Some condition notes: The engine lights up and runs in forward and reverse. Very clean looking inside and out. However, the frame does have a few spots of oxidation on it. Its Box, which is probably the hardest box in the set, is missing an end flap. The No. 6416 Boat Loader is a great looking car. Virtually unrun. Has the (4) original Lionel boats that are in excellent condition. Its Box is very nice with all flaps, however, I do see a small tear on the front. The 6822 is like new. Shows little if any run time on the wheels. Its box is missing an end flap. The 6812 is also like new. No breaks to the railing. Box is complete. The 6827 does have some issues. The Shovel Tractor is missing a door, as well as, the little piece that goes on top to hold the shovel. Does have a couple extra doors and some wires that may not belong. Both Boxes are nice and complete. The 6519 Allis-Chalmers is missing both brake wheels and does not have a box. The 6130 Caboose is like new. Box has a small tear on one side. The Set Box overall is very nice. Some minor skinning. Nice and firm with a clear stamp and original store label. The track included does have some oxidation on the rails.
