Fallows Brown Early American Tin Floor Train Passenger Set 1800s (DAKOTApaul)

Here is one of America's Earliest Toys. A tin floor train Passenger Set by either James Fallows or possibly George Brown. Includes the Engine and Tender with (2) Passenger Cars. Also comes with a wooden box. The toy measures 16" long. The engine is approx. 4-1/4" long. It fairly good condition for its age - as it dates to the 1860s. Hand painted with cast iron spoked wheels. The box is 8" x 5" x 4-1/2". The top is loose. Has a stamp on the bottom which I cannot read. What a cool piece. Would be the focal point of any top collection.
