Lionel No. 249E Prewar Grey Locomotive & 265W Tender - Nice!

Here is is one of the better looking Lionel No. 249E Steam Locomotives that I've seen in awhile. Comes with its No. 265W Whistle Tender - both in gun metal grey. Size of the loco is 10" long, and the tender 6-5/8" not including its couplers. Condition is excellent - as seen in the pictures below. Nice nickel hardware. Only minor wear. Engine lights up and runs in forward and reverse. Tender missing screw on the bottom. When tested the tenders worked but made a racket - not a pure whistle sound.
