Rare Lionel Gunmetal Gray Set No. 241E w/ 260E, 263T 710, 712 Pass. OB/LN

Here is a rare and unique Lionel prewar "O" Gauge Passenger Train Set. From late 1935 - this is Set No. 241E that features a gun-metal gray No. 260E Engine with chugger and 263T Tender. It pulls (3) blue with dark blue roof 6-wheel truck 710. 712 Passenger Cars. And includes the rarely seen low profile, open top Set Box. Comes with all Individual Boxes, a No. 95 Controlling Rheostat, a No. 66 Whistle Controller, and three boxes of Connecting Ties. All that is pictured below.

The Set is in wonderful condition with little runtime if any. The Engine has a replaced frame that is typical on these early engines. The Tender is in pristine condition. Take a look at the wonderful condition of these Passenger Cars.The bodies and bottoms are just gorgeous. Bright and shinny. The roofs however have some pieces of paper stuck to the tops from wrap, and the sides of the roof are beginning to flake in a few places. The Engine and Tender Box are in brick-like shape. The Car boxes are all there but have some flap repair. The Set Box shows wear as pictured. It has one flap that has been taped, and some staining. Don't miss this rare and unique set.
