Wonderful Lionel # 2572 Space Set 2359 3830 6544 3535 ++ LN/OBHere is a neat set of Lionel postwar Trains that you will not see very often - especially in this kind of condition. This is Set No. 2572 - a Super "O" Space Set that Lionel made in 1961. This set includes the No. 2359 Boston & Maine GP Diesel, the No. 6544 Missile Firing Car, the No. 3830 Flat Car with Operating Submarine, the No. 6448 Exploding Box Car, the hard No. 3519 Operating Satellite Launching Car and the No. 3535 Security Caboose. Comes with paperwork, (3) packets, an uncut billboard sheet, 6 banded curves, all individual boxes and a wonderful Set Box. All that is in the many pictures below. Trains look unbelievably clean, all but the engine are unrun and in near mint original condition. This is a super high grade set. I took close-ups of all the cars and their wheels so you can see for yourselves. Car boxes are also in excellent condition. Just a couple of notes: the Engine is very nice with original white painted frame, but I did notice a 3/4" scratch on the roof. Its box is missing its sleeve if it came with one. The No. 6544 is an unrun car but one of its brake wheels has been repaired. The rest is just wonderful as pictured. You won't be disappointed here. Buy with confidence. Thanks. Price: $960 SORRY!
