Nice! Lionel Prewar # 260E Engine & 260T Tender +BOX NO RESERVE (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a very nice Lionel Steam Engine and Tender made in 1933-35. Includes the original Engine and Tender Boxes. This is the black with green frame, No. 260E 2-4-2 Steam engine with its No. 260T eight wheel tender. Engine looks to be in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures (please click the link above to view ALL the pictures before bidding). Original paint with only minor wear. Put on a test track and it lights-up front and ran in both forward and reverse. I see that both pick-up rollers have been repaired. Original lens on the pilot. E-unit switch in the rear. Original FLAGS. The tender also looks great - nice clean trucks and couplers. Has some typical minor rubs in the paint where it attaches to the engine. Both Boxes are very nice originals. The Engine box is missing one small end flap. Has its original Insert. Tender box has a couple small tears on one corner. Overall, this is a nice set. One for the collection.
