High Grade Lionel Postwar 2343 Santa Fe F3 Diesels AA Units 1950 (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a high quality pair of Lionel 2343 F-3 Santa Fe AA units cataloged in 1950. Size is 13" not including its couplers. These are the units with the red GM decal and the screen top roofs. The Powered unit is close to mint. I only see a couple small marks that keep this from being perfect. Check out the front decals, really nice. The powered unit lights up and runs <B>well </B>in both forward and reverse. Interestingly, the non-powered A unit is a notch down in condition to the powered unit. The top is a little thin in places and the domes are worn exposing the black mold on this unit. The Powered Unit Box is brick with Insert and Paper. The non-powered unit box is incomplete and piecemealed together as pictured. Its insert is missing both coupler protector flaps. Both sets of paper are worn with some repair.
