Rare Lionel Prewar "OO" Scale Set 0080 w/001 Hudson 0016 ++ Near MINTHere is an extremely nice original set of Lionel "OO" scale trains from the 1938-42 period. This is the harder to find early 1938 version with the rare colored freight cars - Set No. 0080. This includes the Lionel "OO" gauge 4-6-4, superdetailed 3-rail Hudson No. 001 Steam Locomotive (early version with drawbar pin) with a No. 002W New York Central tender (do not know why this was included as it would normally have a 001W Tender). And (4) freights - the No. 0014 yellow and maroon LIONEL LINES Box Car - the No. 0016 Southern Pacific gray Hopper - the No. 0025 Silver 2599 SUNOCO Tank Car - the the No. 0017 PENNSYLVANIA Caboose. A great set for your OO gauge collections. The whole set is in near MINT original condition - as seen in the pictures. I have tested the Engine and it runs in forward and reverse. Whistle in Tender did not seem to work when tested. Check out the quality of the freights. I really didn't see much wrong with these. probably as good as they get for their age.
