High Grade Lionel No. 249E Prewar Black Locomotive & 265W Tender

Here is a great looking Lionel No. 249E Steam Locomotive and a No. 265W Whistle Tender - both in the rare flat black finish. Size of the loco is 10" long, and the tender 6-1/2" not including its couplers. The engine is really clean. Nice bright nickel trim. Engines runs forward and reverse. The tender is also very nice with some mild wear. When tested the whistle hummed but did not whistle. Will need an adjustment. This is the 249E engine and tender set that is often seen. Don't miss.
